Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Fighting Hawk Sports Partnerships (FHSP) is looking for our next Partnership Activation Assistant. As exclusive multimedia rights holder for University of North Dakota, FHSP manages all aspects of the rights relationship. FHSP provides corporate partners with traditional, digital and other nontraditional media opportunities to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure. Property Assistants are essential to FHSP and our properties’ success. The goal is to execute partnership elements to ensure an enjoyable Game Day experience for the FHSP team, partners, and UND fans. The position will provide excellent on-site marketing and sales training within the sports and entertainment industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fulfillment of on and off-field/court promotions for corporate sponsors (displays, promotional handouts, contests, etc.)
- Communication with various departments of UND Athletics
- Assist with the creation of partnership proposals
- Assist with the fulfilment of contracts and agreements
- Manage marketing inventory
- Capture and organize proof of performance photos
- Handle other miscellaneous projects as needed
Minimum Requirements
- High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to prioritize and execute tasks
- Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure
- Knowledge in Excel, Power Point and Outlook; savvy with social media
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends
- Graphic design experience a plus
- Pursuing or completed degree in the areas of: Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field
