Purpose of Position
The Athletic Operations staff at the University of North Dakota is in search of dedicated, hard-working students that will be able to assist our program with a variety of day-to-day tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills to assist in both the operational and administrative functions of the program.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting the Deputy Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director of Operations with day-to-day responsibilities in the areas of game operations, facilities, and equipment services for the whole Athletics Department.
- Assistance with laundry services
- Event set-up at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center and Ralph Engelstad Arena
- Other duties assigned in different facilities operations by Athletics.
Minimum Requirements
- Punctual, responsible, and accountable for completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Dedicated to fulfilling tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication (verbal & written) skills.
- Some knowledge of Athletics Department game operations.
- Willing and able to follow the directions of supervisors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
- Successful Completion of a Criminal History Background Check
