Salary/Position Classification

  • $15/hour undergrad, $17/hour grad student, hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 7-10 hours hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The student will assist in grading homework assignments and occasional discussion boards for Engr 340 for the Fall 2025 semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grade approximately 1 homework assignment per week for up to 60 students
    • This will typically be a page of writing that they will check for concept comprehension
    • If there is not a homework assignment due that week, the grader may be asked to grade a discussion board in its place

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have received an A in Engr 340 or equivalent course
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
