Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete all daily event set-ups, technical requirements, furniture, equipment, etc.
- Relay all pertinent information/issues to staff members as appropriate
- Assist with daily event management
- Maintain orderly appearance in all storage areas
- Responsible for appearance/cleanliness of public spaces and meeting rooms
- Conduct regular inventory of setup equipment
- Cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, building partners, and guests
- Must wear protective safety equipment, including (at a minimum) closed-toed shoes, belted pants, and proper Memorial Union uniform
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
