Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main greeter at Northern Prairie Community Clinic
- Answer the main office phone line
- Take messages
- Assist clients with appointments
- Provide accurate and current information regarding NPCC
- Transfer phone calls to appropriate individuals or offices
- Complete a variety of administrator-assigned tasks as needed, including receiving payments, scanning, filing, faxing, placing phone calls, retrieving files for student clinicians, and communicating with staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Coordinator
Minimum Requirements
- Office and Customer Service Skills including:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to uphold the utmost confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Knowledge of NPCC is helpful to inform visitors/callers about available services
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed relevant term
- Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
- Availability during clinic hours:
- Monday-Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of NPCC and services provided
- Experience working with Medicat
