Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 15-20 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students that qualify for Federal Work Study are eligible to be hired into this position.

This is the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the success of the Division I Football Program at the University of North Dakota in the competitive Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position will have the ability to work in many different areas of the football program.
  • Potential duties include, but are not limited to o assisting the recruiting coordinator on game day
  • Retrieval and sorting of mail
  • Filming practice
  • Filming games
  • Recruiting data
  • Retrieval and sorting of mail
  • Answering phones and communicating correspondence with UND Football Staff
  • Student Equipment Manager role:
  • Practice set-up and break down on a daily basis
  • Work with coaches during practice to help set-up and execute the drills
  • Learn how to properly fit and maintain equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads
  • Taught how to properly maintain an accurate inventory on a daily basis
  • Locker room set-up for all home games
  • Perform game day duties that will be specified by the DFO
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Ensure proper storage of equipment
  • Other projects assigned
  • This position has some regular duties assigned but also assists the office, as needs arise, with varied projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Successful completion of criminal history records check
  • Experience with Office Technology preferred (ex. copying machine)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
