Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The College of Engineering & Mines is looking for student building monitors to assist the College of Engineering & Mines during after or non-business hours. This position is open to FWS and INST student funding.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Walk the entire complex each hour
- Document each walk with notes with exact date and times
- Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
- Report any disturbances or safety violations to the proper authorities
- Work independently without a direct supervisor for extended periods of time
- Able to answer questions without the contact of supervisors
Minimum Requirements
- Work evenings and weekends plus some holidays
- Have a basic working knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
