Salary/Position Classification

  • 14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with general office tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain organization of office spaces, supply inventory, and shared resources Assist with scheduling, calendars, and posting departmental notices
  • Help distribute scripts, production materials, and departmental communications
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student workers to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Represent the UND Theatre Arts Department in a professional and courteous manner

Minimum Requirements

  • Interest in theatre arts or the performing arts preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing, scheduling tools)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • May require lifting of 20-30 lbs
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
