Purpose of Position

This position will work with the Pancratz Career Development Center which serves students and alumni in the Nistler College by providing professional development services to Nistler students, assisting Pancratz staff in various projects, assisting with the preparation and execution of Pancratz Center events and activities, intake and log clothing donations for the Freeman Professional Closet and track closet inventory and serve as a GTA for BADM Career Development courses

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Pancratz Career Development Center which serves students and alumni in the Nistler College
  • Provide professional development services to Nistler students such as resume and cover letter review, practice interviews, job and internship search assistance, finding professional clothing items through the Freeman Professional closet, and related services
  • Assist Pancratz staff in various projects including but not limited to database management, drafting and sending promotional content, conducting research and other duties as assigned
  • Help with the preparation and execution of Pancratz Center events and activities including career fairs, workshops, tabling, closet events, etc.
  • Intake and log clothing donations for the Freeman Professional Closet and track closet inventory
  • Serve as a GTA for BADM Career Development courses, assisting with various aspects including grading and creation of class materials and attending classes to help facilitate activities.
  • Specific responsibilities are determined by the Nistler College of Business and Public Administration and are subject to change based on the needs of the department and/or School/College

  • Maintain a minimum enrollment of 6 credits per semester

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate degree seeking students in Approved or Provisional status and in good academic standing in one of the following Nistler Graduate Programs: Master of Accountancy, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Applied Economics & Predictive Analytics and Master of Public Administration
  • ABM or combined students may be considered upon successful completion of the undergraduate requirements and bachelor’s degree conferral
  • Experience with standard software applications including MS Office and Outlook
  • International students must meet the specified language proficiency requirements
  • Maintain a minimum enrollment of 6 credits per semester
  • Must submit a resume and cover letter stating how you meet the position requirements
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered for Fall 2026 coursework in the respective program
