Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform numerical modeling on satellite communication windows and orbits
- Optical measurements of station viewline and obstructions
- Modeling and measurements of atmospheric visibility for link budgets
- Support installation of new equipment at optical ground station

Minimum Requirements
- Interest in Satellite operations
- Coding experience in python
- Experience in experimental optics through course work or research
- Majoring in physics program Junior or senior year
- completed Optics course PHYS 325
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
