Salary/Position Classification

• $18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 6 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct field-based data collection in Grand Forks
• Assist with administering and supporting a public transit survey
• Organize and clean datasets
• Support basic geospatial and statistical data analysis
• Contribute to preparing maps, figures, and summary tables
• Assist with drafting sections of project reports and documentation

Minimum Requirements

• Undergraduate student with solid GIS skills
• Ability to assist with data analysis and field data collection.
• Organize and clean datasets, contribute to preparing maps, figures and summary tables.
• Assist with project reports.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
