Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
To support the evaluation of the spectroscopy device by collecting and analyzing multimodal spectroscopy data, assessing measurement reliability and variability across anatomical sites, and contributing to the validation of device performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect study data using the spectroscopy device
- Ensure accurate documentation and data organization
- Perform data preprocessing and analysis
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing study findings
Minimum Requirements
- Current graduate student in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with data collection in research settings
- Basic knowledge of data analysis methods
- Ability to work collaboratively in a research team
- Operation of the PIPA device
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Experience with data collection and preprocessing
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MATLAB or Python
- Familiarity with machine learning methods for data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and effective teamwork and communication skills
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
