Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

This position will assist the College of Arts & Sciences in advancing digital accessibility by reviewing and editing video captions and remediating digital content for programs and courses in the College of Arts & Sciences

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate, review, and edit auto-generated captions and transcripts for pre-recorded educational videos
  • Review and correct other digital content, such as PDFs, as needed to ensure materials meet accessibility guidelines

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program as a GTA at the University of North Dakota
  • Demonstrated research, writing, and organizational skills
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Experience with caption or transcript editing
    • Experience using Blackboard, Yuja or OneDrive
    • Experience with accessibility requirements for digital content
