Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives customers into the dining room, accepts various types of payment
- Completes various functions on the Odyssey privilege control system
- Assist with board meal changes, cash transactions, answer phone and answer student questions.
- Enforces the Dining Services policies
- Relieves the Dining Room Attendants for their breaks
- Washes tables and responsible for general dining room housekeeping duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to stand for 3–4 hours
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen
- Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
- Successfully complete a Criminal History Background Check
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
