Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting fieldwork, including:
- driving to visit selected sites in ND and MT
- collecting plant and pollinator data
- identifying insect species for later data analyses
- communicating findings with collaborating stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
- BA or BS with major in biology, ecology, or related fields with fieldwork experience
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Ideal applicant will have strong quantitative analytical skills and experience with plant and insect identification in the field. Applicants should also be self - reliant, motivated, and flexible.
