Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with project teams and EERC clients to inform strategies and implement solutions that enable prudent and economic production and use of fossil and renewable energy, reduce the carbon intensity of energy production, and assist stakeholders in understanding the economic implications of various pathways.
- Work in collaboration with EERC subject matter experts, leadership, and clients to prepare proposals and budgets and to develop, pursue, and execute business opportunities that are responsive to client interests.
- Assist project managers by working with project teams to ensure work is successfully completed on time, on budget, and within client expectations.
- Effectively and professionally communicate progress and status and participate in knowledge-sharing with stakeholders, including partaking in or leading in-person meetings, web meetings, conference calls, and presentations to stakeholders, and attending or presenting at conferences.
- Prepare briefings, technical reports, conference papers, peer-reviewed journal articles, and outreach materials. Communicate technical results to clients, stakeholders, the public, and the scientific community.
- Significant travel may be required.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
- 15 years of experience in oil and gas operations
- 10 years oilfield operations management/supervisory experience
- Upstream oil and gas facilities design and operation experience
- CO2-EOR experience with a focus on pipelines and facility design
- Experience in task management to include planning, oversight, coordination, project status, and reporting and budget analysis

Preferred Qualifications
- 20+ years of work experience related to oil and gas production.
- 15+ years of experience in a management role.
- Experience with planning, design, costing, implementation and operation of production and recycle infrastructure associated with waterflood and CO2 EOR.
- Experience with pipeline planning and design.
- Experience with chemical treatment design, optimization and troubleshooting for oil and gas operations.
- Experience in oil and gas production optimization and troubleshooting.
