Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage with students who visit The Hilyard Center
  • Facilitate programs and events that promote student success and community building practices
  • Other duties as assigned to support the mission and vision of The Hilyard Center and the Office of Community & Belonging

Minimum Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student at UND
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Shown commitment to fostering community and belonging
  • Prior engagement with The Hilyard Center including participation in its programs, events, or services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to build professional relationships and work collaboratively with students from a variety of backgrounds
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal supervision
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
