Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a member of the Marketing & Communications team assisting with a variety of graphic design tasks, including (but not limited to):
- Create and execute design concepts for marketing campaigns.
- Present design concepts to their supervisor and other marketing staff members.
- Design a wide variety of marketing materials, including posters, brochures, digital signage, print signage, web images, logos, etc.
- Prepare artwork for use in print and digital communications.
- Place print orders and ensure delivery from vendors.
- Conduct research on graphic design techniques and resources.
- Assist staff with various office tasks as needed (deliveries, printing, assembly of materials).
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a quick learner.
- Have excellent graphic design skills.
- Strong grasp of the English language.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
- Graphic design major, graphic design minor, communication major or marketing major.
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
