Purpose of Position

As part of a multi-year research project, Dr. Summers and team members have collected a large number of elementary students' written responses to science tasks. These students were asked to make claims, support them with provided evidence, and apply scientific reasoning. Undergraduates can expect to work as part of a team while engaging in research activities. As part of this experience, undergraduate students will learn about one of these tasks and how to use a rubric to score students' responses.

No prior experience in education or education research is required. Preferred qualifications include the ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Please reach out to Ryan Summers (ryan.summers@und.edu) with any questions about the position or expectations.
