Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.25 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sort U.S. and intra-campus mail 
  • Apply appropriate postage to UND’s outgoing mail 
  • Utilize various equipment within the Print and Mail Center such as a mail tabbing machine, envelope inserter or postage meter machine 
  • Assist with receiving packages 
  • Assist with mail and package deliveries 
  • Other duties such as mail forwarding and assist in processing large bulk mailings 
  • Must be able to work independently 
  • Provide support with a variety of general office tasks and administrative duties 
  • Assist with projects as assigned 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competently utilize mail and print equipment and related technology
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
