Purpose of Position
This instructor would be responsible for co-teaching MPH students enrolled in American Indian Health Policy in the Department of Public Health at the University of North Dakota, School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Devote 10 hours of work per week to the department
- Teach American Indian Health Policy course
- Hold office hours with students, as requested, to answer questions about the course materials.
Required Competencies
- Able to work remotely and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to speak in a public setting and present at professional meetings.
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in Indigenous health.
- Experience teaching American Indian Health policy
- Experience working with American Indian communities in health-related areas
- Experience and proficiency in using Blackboard Ultra and Campus Connection
- Experience teaching asynchronous courses
- Experience and proficiency in using distance technologies for communications (webinars, online modules, or televideo, etc.).
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
