Purpose of Position
Teach OT 612 Sensory Functions in Grand Forks
Duties & Responsibilities
- Help students apply course-related concepts and think critically about course content
- Motivate, support, and empower students to expand their subject area confidence and assist them in defining academic success and monitoring progress
- Meet with students individually and in small groups to reinforce and assist students with understanding course content
- Assist in tracking student success and other duties as assigned
- Maintain student confidentiality at all times
- Prepare for course content delivery
- Set up for class
- Prepare exam with course director
- Grade student work
Required Competencies
- Knowledge to properly teach OT Sensory Functions
- Work independently and as a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directives
- Successful complete criminal history background check
Minimum Requirements
- Licensed occupational therapist
- 2 or more years experience working with individuals with sensory function challenges
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy Doctorate
- Previous didactic or fieldwork teaching experience in occupational therapy
