Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 - 15 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only University of North Dakota students enrolled in classes are eligible to be hired into this position.
  • Comply with all institutional and NCAA rules and regulations
  • Provide academic tutoring for student athletes
    • Business Tutor: Must have completed the following courses (or equivalent) with a minimum final grade of a B - ECON 201, ECON 202, ECON 210, ACCT 200, ACCT 201, FIN 310, MGMT 300/301, ISBA 217, MRKT 305
    • Biology/Chemistry Tutor: Must have completed the following courses (or equivalent) with a minimum final grade of a B BIOL 150/151, CHEM 121/122, CHEM 341/342, BIOL 315, BIOL 341 - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Sophomore standing or higher
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
