Salary/Position Classification

• $25- $35 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• As needed, approximately 6-10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a temp position with as needed work to support landscaping services group with snow removal for significant snow storms (2+ inches of snow) or as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Snow Removal/Walkway Clearing
  • Operate Skid Steers, and tool cats as assigned to clear snow from sidewalks for large snow events.
• Snow Removal/Road Clearing
  • Operate plow trucks and payloader to clear and haul snow from roadways for large snow events.
• Miscellaneous tasks:
  • Report maintenance issues to full-time Landscaping employees for equipment repair/replacement.
  • Timely reporting of hours worked in time keeping system 

Required Competencies

• Timeliness and reliability
• Willingness to work outside during inclement weather
• Willingness to drive on snow packed/icy roads during work conditions

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with Skid Steers, snowplows, toolcats, or snow blowers, or pay loaders for snow removal.
• Experience doing snow removal
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
