Position Summary:

The Department of Psychology at Oklahoma City University welcomes applications for a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Experimental Psychology beginning in the Fall of 2025. While the area of specialty within experimental psychology is open, candidates in the areas of social or forensic psychology are highly desirable. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate level, being actively engaged in conducting and supervising research, and providing service to the university and profession. Candidates will also have the opportunity to teach  courses and supervise research in our doctoral program in clinical psychology.  

 

Qualifications 

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in psychology . The ideal candidate will be committed to teaching excellent and have prior university-level teaching experience. They will have the ability to teach introductory and advanced statistics, research design, and other courses in their area of specialty.  Successful candidates will also have evidence of scholarly  activity and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
