Assistant Professor of Musicology in Main Campus, Oklahoma City
The Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University (OCU) invites applications for the nine-month, non-tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Musicology. We welcome candidates with expertise in any area, although preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses on a broad range of musical traditions, including global, popular, and Western styles. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate seminars of the candidate’s choosing, a graduate musicology methods course, and a sophomore level sequence on Western and global traditions. Faculty members are expected to participate in the school's assessment program and in student recruiting and retention efforts for the school and the university. Effective teaching, scholarship, and service are required for promotion.

The Admissions Counselor is responsible for supporting the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in identifying, attracting, and enrolling diverse and well-qualified students. The Admissions Counselor acts as the university’s representative for all aspects of the admissions operation both on and off campus in his/her work. The Admissions Counselor reports to the Associate Director of Admissions and is a member of the Admissions team within the department of Enrollment Management.

The Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University (OCU) invites applications for an adjunct position in vocal coaching and collaborative piano. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate seminars in vocal literature, diction, and other related courses; maintain a vocal coaching studio of between 30 and 40 students majoring in both musical theater and vocal performance; and serve as coach/pianist for one opera or musical theater production per semester. The ideal candidate will also provide support to our instrumental areas through jury and recital collaborations.
