The opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Governance, Quality and Education, The Clinical and Quality Nurse Advisor will provide clinical and quality support across UPA programs and services.
The role
As the Clinical and Quality Nurse Advisor, you will:
- Provide clinical and quality support, act as a resource for compliance-related activities, and take the lead in developing evidence-based policies.
- Coach and mentor staff members, contributing to enhancing clinical practices within UPA's aged care operations.
- Engage in leading or participating in organisation-wide clinical projects aimed at improving consumer outcomes.
- This role requires significant travel across UPA programs and services.
About you
You will hold Clinical qualifications to degree level, as well as current AHPRA registration with no limitations or banning orders in place. You will also hold post-graduate qualifications in aged or health care related field. You will have broad clinical and problem-solving skills as well as experience in the aged or health care sectors, having worked at a Senior level in the aged care industry for a minimum of 5 years post graduate.
You will have a deep understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance and quality management.
This role requires regular travel as an essential component of the position.
