We are seeking an experienced and passionate Facility Manager to lead our dedicated team at Richmond Lodge. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in a warm, community-focused environment, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.

About Richmond 

Richmond Lodge is a modern, well-appointed 18-room residential aged care facility located in a quiet residential area just a short stroll from the picturesque town centre of Casino. Each resident enjoys a comfortable private room with an ensuite, spacious dining and relaxed living areas, plus a dedicated activities room hosting a variety of recreational pursuits tailored to individual interests and abilities.

Specialist Dementia Care

  • Richmond Lodge’s East Wing offers secure, specialist dementia care.
  • The wing features an enhanced sensory experience through a beautiful interactive garden wrapping around the building, supporting best practice care through ongoing staff training and innovative programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the daily operations of Richmond Lodge and ensuring best practice care standards
  • Managing, mentoring, and supporting staff to deliver compassionate, resident-focused care
  • Overseeing compliance with aged care accreditation and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with health professionals and families to enhance resident wellbeing
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives and supporting specialist dementia care programs

What You Bring

Essential:

  • Proven leadership experience in aged care facility management
  • Clinical nursing background with current AHPRA registration
  • Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and quality standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Commitment to delivering person-centred care with empathy and integrity

Desirable:

  • Experience in dementia-specific care and sensory programs
  • Tertiary qualifications in health, aged care, or related fields
