Nestled in the lush, green suburb of Wahroonga, the Thomas & Rosetta Agst Centre is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will be a vital part of maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our aged care residents. You’ll be working in a supportive team and contributing to the wellbeing of those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the facility

• Handle residents’ laundry with care, ensuring infection control and dignity

• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver seamless services

• Promote a safe, hygienic, and homely environment

• Follow Work Health and Safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Takes pride in providing a high standard of cleanliness

• Shows kindness and empathy towards elderly residents

• Can work independently while adhering to safety guidelines

• Understands infection control and safe chemical handling

• Has a positive attitude and a team-focused mindset

• Holds or is willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate (desirable)

• Is familiar with Work Health and Safety practices

• Is reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
