The opportunity:
Are you a compassionate individual looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference? As a Home Care Worker with UPA, you'll provide essential support to elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
We have multiple positions available on a part time basis, perfect for maintaining work-life balance.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a consumer-directed approach
- Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support
- Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients
- Responding to emergency situations using first aid
- Maintaining accurate records of client care
- Reporting any incidents or hazards
What you’ll need?
- Cert IV/Diploma in Community Service or equivalent relevant qualification or working towards or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Great written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks based on client risk.
- Competence in using systems.
