The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee our Home Care service in the Western region, based at our office in Dubbo.
In this role, you will manage key service programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and UPA’s strategic goals. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Home Care services, focusing on team experience, safe and effective care, and delivering high-quality results aligned with our mission.
Reporting to the Operations Lead of Home Care, you will work closely with your team to drive continuous improvement, manage risks effectively, and enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Home Care Service: Ensure the delivery of safe, effective care while aligning services with regulatory requirements and UPA’s strategic goals.
- Team Experience: Foster a supportive, safe, and collaborative environment for the team. Empower staff through coaching and mentoring to enhance performance and satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify and respond to risks proactively, ensuring the safety of both staff and clients at all times.
- Service Performance: Monitor and manage service performance to meet established KPIs and ensure high-quality, consistent delivery.
- Team Development: Encourage continuous learning and reflection on practice. Support professional development and foster a culture of growth within the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data, audits, and feedback to drive service improvements, address concerns, and implement best practices.
- Work Health and Safety: Facilitate and implement strategies for managing workplace health and safety, addressing high-risk issues to maintain a secure environment.
About you:
- You bring at least 3 years of experience in a senior healthcare or Home Care/Community Services role.
- You have a strong understanding of Aged Care regulations and funding.
- You excel in problem-solving, adaptability, and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- You have excellent communication skills and a passion for staff development, leading teams to deliver high-quality care.
- You are skilled at analysing performance data to drive improvements and achieve the best outcomes for both staff and clients.
- Resilient and proactive, you lead change effectively and navigate challenges with confidence.
- You possess strong mentoring and coaching abilities, empowering your team while fostering trust and accountability.
