Project Manager – Minor Works
UPA is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Minor Works to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects across our property network, including refurbishments, upgrades, fitouts and compliance works.
This client-side role will manage projects end-to-end, from design and approvals through to procurement, construction and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to residents, staff and operations.

The Projects team delivers a broad capital works programme that supports UPA’s strategic priorities and enhances the experience of residents, staff and communities.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager – Minor Works, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of concurrent projects and ensuring successful delivery through:

Leading end-to-end project delivery across refurbishments, upgrades, fitouts and compliance projects.

Managing project scope, budgets, programmes, risks, quality and WHS requirements.

Coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Managing procurement, contract administration, variations, reporting and project controls.

Delivering works in live operational environments while maintaining a strong resident-focused approach.
What You Will Bring
You will have:
-
4+ years’ experience delivering building, refurbishment, fitout or capital works projects.

Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
-
Strong knowledge of project management, procurement, contracts, cost control and risk management.

Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Understanding of NSW planning, building and WHS requirements.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, property, engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within aged care, retirement living, health or other live operating environments will be highly regarded.
