Under the direction of the Director of Facilities and working closely with the Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and Events, this position will be responsible for managing assigned venues and will serve as the primary point of contact for these venues; and as such, will manage all activities required to operate, maintain, and service the venue and/or events held in the athletics facilities at James Madison University.

Benefits of Becoming a CE: Career Educators learn, work, and develop professionally through program planning and facilitating small and large group presentations. Career Educators present career-related workshops to students through the Health 100 Passport Program and will lead small group presentations. Career Educators meet with students and alumni in a 1:1 setting to provide career-related support and guidance. Career Educators conduct resume and cover letter reviews, LinkedIn and Handshake appointments, and Career Fair Prep appointments. Career educators assist with large-scale UCC programming such as Career Fairs and other networking events. This position performs a variety of duties to support the Office of Student Accountability and RestorativePractices (OSARP). OSARP office hours during the school year (Fall/Spring) are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our office is closed from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM for lunch.
