General Information:

Residence Life Business Operations is seeking a Temporary Summer Facilities Assistant. The Facilities Assistant will report to the Facilities Technician and assist with summer sweeps and summer projects in the 33 residence halls on campus working to complete all projects for the arrival of the 2026-2027 Fall residents.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, deliver & move furniture
  • Make deliveries for Residence Life
  • Assist in maintaining Residence Life inventories
  • Help with building inspections & furniture repairs
  • Be able to follow oral/written instructions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Communicate clearly
  • Able to consistently lift 75 lbs. on own or more with the help of a coworker
  • Applicants must be flexible and able to work together or alone as tasks change daily

Conditions of Employment:  

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
