General Information:

Assist in the creation and maintenance of digital marketing and organization for Student Leadership, Involvement, and Off-Campus Life.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in media production for SLIOCL, including but not limited to:

Develop digital media and promotional materials for SLIOCL.

Social media management and content creation for Leadership and Involvement Instagram account.

Manage and create postings.

Develop and manage a social media calendar.

Complete training and promote compliance best practices with Title II.

Develop and promote strategy for social media (gaining followers, general look and best practices).

Creating, sending out individual, and mass email communications.

Develop promotional materials and organize purchasing.

Assist with maintaining communication platforms (emails, website).

Project management and point of contact for SACM on media design requests.

Create promotional efforts for education and compliance with Adam’s Law.

Maintain high levels of trust with access to University systems and communication.

Other Duties as assigned.

Qualities for a Successful Candidate

Superior Communication skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organization skills and ability to follow through.

Ability to work independently.

Specifics of this Position:

Willing to work in person and directly supervised by the Associate Director of Student Leadership and Involvement.

Work 10-20 hours per week and be flexible to changing work demands.

Begin work on March 23, 2026, or sooner.

Continue work into the 26-27 academic year.

Compensation is set at $13.50-$17/hour, depending on qualifications.

 

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
