      The Department of Finance and Business Law in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance position to begin Fall 2026. About the Department: The Finance and Business Law Department is staffed by 17 full-time faculty with 14 faculty in finance and 3 faculty in Business Law. The department serves both Finance and Quantitative Finance majors and college business law courses. FIN & BLAW faculty have received numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding teaching, service, and research. JMU subscribes to both the Standard & Poor’s Compustat, the University of Chicago’s Center for Research in Securities Prices (CRSP), MSCI ESG KLD and NYSE TAQ databases through WRDS, and students and faculty have access to Bloomberg through the Gaglioti Capital Markets Laboratory. Interdisciplinary and applied research is encouraged. About the College: The College of Business includes nationally ranked undergraduate and graduate programs and is dual-accredited in both Business and Accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a distinction achieved by less than 2% of business schools worldwide.       The College of Business is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to provide administrative support to the Office of Professional Development and Engagement. As an integral member of the College’s team, the Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of the office, manage the Office of Professional Development and Engagement’s budget, provide fiscal support to College of Business student organizations and office programming, coordinate college-wide events for student organizations and college admissions activities. This role involves regular collaboration with faculty and administrative staff to provide support to student programming and college admissions activities. The Operations Manager represents JMU and must exhibit high standards of professionalism and customer service. This position reports to the Director of Professional Development and Engagement.
