The Event Support Coordinator will coordinate all events and box office operations occurring in the Murchison Performing Arts Center. The Event Coordinator reports to the Director of the MPAC, works in collaboration with lead lighting and audio technical directors, and oversees all front of house activities including the box office. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water or abrasive blasting.
