Position Overview Reporting to the Vice President, Institutional Advancement, the Associate Vice President of Advancement Operations “AVP” is a leadership role in Institutional Advancement at The University of North Texas Health Science Center. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, creative leader with a proven track record developing, nurturing, facilitating, and reinforcing best practices in Advancement operations and donor relations. The AVP provides supervision and direction to team members furthering the mission of UNTHSC through the goals of Institutional Advancement. The AVP creates strategies for and provides daily oversight for multiple areas to support to the Division of Institutional Advancement including donor relations, special events, prospect/moves management, research, communications, financial services/budgeting, and scholarships, and works closely with all levels of staff, including senior management. The AVP supports the Vice President of Institutional Advancement with all operational matters as assigned. |
