Department Summary The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for the main mission of the institution including teaching, research, and service. The provost office provides leadership in the development and supervision of the university's academic programs in conjunction with the deans and faculty representatives. |
Position Overview The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Office of the Provost, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication across various academic departments. As a forward-facing position, the coordinator greets guests and assists visitors to the Provost’s office, providing a welcoming and professional presence. This role involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, purchasing, organizing meetings and events, arranging travel, and overseeing office supply and inventory. The coordinator will also maintain accurate records, handle correspondence, and assist in implementing academic initiatives. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator will contribute to a positive work environment and support the institution’s strategic goals. |
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and three years' of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. |
