Department Summary The College of Education (COE) prepares professionals and scholars who contribute to the advancement of education, health, and human development. The mission of the Student Advising Office is to support the University of North Texas and the College of Education by providing developmental academic advising, helping students create academic plans that align with their life goals. Partner with students to guide them toward academic success in their chosen fields, fostering their growth and achievement along the way. |
Position Overview Advising students on State, University and College degree/program requirements, course scheduling, maintaining and updating student status records, transcript evaluations, degree plan audits, and graduation applications. Serves as a subject matter expert on specialized majors determining how transfer credits apply toward degree requirements. |
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and two years' of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, or professional academic advising. |
