Position Overview The Advising Assistant will serve as support for overseeing the front desk of the academic advising suite to assist peer advisors with emails, answering phone calls, and answering any advising related questions. They will assist students with scheduling advising appointments and rescheduling appointments due to cancellations. The Advisor Assistant will assist students with any questions related but not limited to searching for courses discussed with advisor, assist students understand holds and prerequisites and understanding various forms related to academics. |

Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: Associate degree in a relevant field and one year of experience working in an administrative or other similar environment. |

Work Schedule: The position will be a part-time position, consisting of 19 hours a week working during office hours from 8am-5pm office hours. |
