Department Summary

The Department of Pediatrics and Women’s Health strives to continuously improve the quality and value of our education, pediatric health care, research, and community service programs. We are dedicated to educating doctors and physician assistants and providing the North Texas Community with quality pediatric medical care and community health services.

Position Overview

The Department of Pediatrics and Women’s Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant - Hourly employee to support Dr. Raines-Milenkov and her team with data collection and analysis. This role involves working closely with the Research team and collaborators. The incumbent will gather, manage, and analyze data pertinent to ongoing research studies.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in Public Health and an interest in Women's Health.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Duties

  • Assists researchers in conducting phases of a research project.
  • Assist with conducting surveys and interviews with research participants.
  • Assist with developing manuscripts, posters and presentations.
  • Assist with developing IRB protocols.
  • Makes and records observations and measurements.
  • Prepares technical reports.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Part-time; 10-19 hours a week.
