Department Summary The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) Dean’s Office provides central administrative and operational support for UNT’s largest academic unit. The office partners with departments and university leadership to support academic programs, faculty affairs, budgeting, personnel processes, and college-wide initiatives while advancing student success. |

Position Overview Located in the Executive Dean’s Office of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS), the primary responsibility of the CLASS Dean’s Office Senior Administrative Specialist is to coordinate and process travel arrangements, reimbursements, and related documentation for CLASS faculty, staff, students, and guests, ensuring compliance with University policies, timelines, and budget requirements. |

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and one year of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. |
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities -Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. |
|
Preferred Qualifications -At least one year of front desk/reception customer service in a professional office setting. |
