Department Summary The College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences (CBTS) at UNT Health has three multidisciplinary departments that include Physiology & Anatomy, Pharmacology & Neuroscience and Microbiology, Immunology & Genetics. CBTS takes great pride in shaping the future of the biomedical workforce with three focus areas: education, student service, and research. Our students are educators, researchers, and health care professionals of tomorrow. The research areas of CBTS are diverse and include cardiovascular, neuroscience, health disparities, vision science, genetics, immunology, molecular biology, nanotechnology, pharmacology, and numerous other areas. |

Position Overview The Academic Program Specialist will provide centralized course and semester level operational support for Specialized Master’s Programs (SMPs) in CBTS, including Medical Science and Clinical Research Management programs (face-to-face and online). This role focuses on faculty-level coordination and semester execution to ensure courses, academic events, and instructional infrastructure are prepared and delivered consistently as enrollment scales. This position operates with a high degree of independence and supports enrollment growth by reducing operational risk across modalities. |

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
