Department Summary The UNT Division of Instrumental Studies is a epicenter for learning, featuring world-renowned individual instrumental instruction, collaborative opportunities, and professional mentorship. Offering performance degrees at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels in addition to a Graduate Artist Certificate, the Instrumental Studies division allows students to specialize in string, woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments. |

Position Overview The music summer camp intern provides additional instructional support and supervision for minor summer campers during College of Music summer programs. Duties include escorting campers between events, supervising students overnight in the dorms, and/or providing small group instruction. |

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, some collegiate-level percussion experience, faculty recommendation |
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of percussion instruments, percussion performance practices, musical terminology, and ensemble rehearsal procedures |
