Our acclaimed faculty, distinguished performers, and educators mentor students in a dynamic environment. Students perform in various ensembles, including the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band. Position Overview The Faculty for the UNT Vocal Jazz Workshop serve as key educators and mentors, delivering dynamic and practical instruction in a week-long immersive jazz experience. Designed for high school and collegiate vocalists, as well as educators seeking to deepen their understanding of vocal jazz, the workshop emphasizes ensemble singing, solo performance, improvisation, and vocal technique within a supportive and collaborative setting. |

Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated excellence in vocal jazz performance and pedagogy |
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency in jazz theory, improvisation, and ensemble direction. |

Preferred Qualifications
|
|
Required License/Registration/Certifications Communicating with others to exchange information. Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing. No adverse environmental conditions expected. |
