Department Summary The Department of Medical Education at TCOM is seeking a teaching Assistant Professor, non-tenured, Director of the Faculty Development Center. This position is responsible for managing and nurturing a comprehensive faculty development enterprise at UNT Health. The Director provides leadership, coordination, planning, and delivery of professional development opportunities for faculty at all ranks. In addition to overseeing the educational and programmatic mission of the center, this role manages the Educational Coordinator position and oversees the admissions and evaluation of enrollees in faculty development programming. |

Position Overview This position provides leadership for the TCOM Faculty Development Center, oversees development and delivery of FDC educational programming, and serves as a liaison representing FDC to outside institutions, state agencies, other healthcare organizations, and TCOM affiliated and statewide graduate medical education programs. This position reports to the Chair of Medical Education and Health Systems Science. |
