Department Summary The University of North Texas (UNT) College of Education is a leading educator preparation institution. It is divided into four main departments offering a total of roughly 9 bachelor’s, 18 master’s, and 14 doctoral concentrations. |

Position Overview The Communications Specialist provides dedicated communications support for the College of Education (COE) to ensure timely, accurate, consistent, and accessible messaging aligned with COE priorities and the university’s strategic direction. The role exists to gather and translate complex information into clear communications for internal and external audiences and to maintain high-quality content across COE channels. |

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of experience in writing and/or editing publications; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. |
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to conceptualize, write and edit content for university audiences. |
|
Preferred Qualifications *Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
