Senior HVAC Technician in Denton
* This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on all equipment associated with the production and distribution of chilled water to buildings on the UNT Denton campus. * This position also performs all other duties assigned, including decorative fountain repairs, building automation troubleshooting, and troubleshooting and/or repair of chilled water end-use devices (AHUs). * This position is also responsible for maintenance on DX units, walk-in coolers, and any related control devices. * The goal of this position is to provide livable/workable interior space for students, faculty, staff, and research. * Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and upgrades all equipment associated with HVAC for building on the UNT Denton Campuses. * Systems include but are not limited to chillers, pumps, cooling towers, DX systems, and a campus-wide chilled water distribution loop. * Inspects HVAC systems and their components (heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate, condition, and identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance. * Prepares written materials (repair status, activity logs, etc.) to document activities and/or convey information. * Recovers and recycles the refrigerants used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems as per EPA regulations. * Installs, maintains, repairs, and rectifies problems through the many mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including electrical motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches which comprise heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems as per EPA regulations. * Keeps records of all refrigerants purchased and used as per EPA regulations. * Other duties as assigned. ** This position is considered to be essential personnel, and may require working overtime, which could include nights and weekends as needed.

Professor of Practice in Downtown Dallas
The UNT Dallas College of Law welcomes applications from experienced lawyers, judges, and law school instructors who are interested serving a Professor of Practice. This is a year-round, faculty position, Professor of Practice, for the experiential education department. This position will provide academic instruction and assistance in the development of experiential courses and programs within the entire J.D. curriculum. This department manages the Community Lawyering Center (CLC), Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic (JABIC), externships, and the COL required student volunteer program, Community Engagement Program (CEP). Dependent upon the needs of the department, this position may be tasked with serving as a faculty supervisor in the Community Lawyering Center (CLC) or with the management and teaching of the externship course. The CLC accepts cases involving a broad range of civil legal issues including family law, housing, consumer, governmental benefits, and other areas. Alternatively, the person may be tasked with management and teaching of the externship course, identifying and developing placements for externships; training field supervisors; teaching the classroom component of externship placements. This position will also contribute to the supervision of CEP projects and other activities sponsored by the experiential education department as needed. The College of Law will support faculty in these areas by providing training, course design expertise, and learning management system support.
