      The Senior Director Grants & Contracts Administration for Post Award Grant Management is a critical leadership role within the Grants & Contracts Administration unit of the Division of Research & Innovation. The Senior Director will lead the development and implementation of standardized post-award policies, procedures, and training programs across UNT. This position is responsible for restoring operational integrity and compliance across UNT’s research enterprise. They will oversee staff and management of effort reporting, subrecipient monitoring, financial reconciliation, and compliance with federal, state, and sponsor regulations.

The Analyst will oversee negotiations for standard research contracts, maintain and optimize contract management databases, and collaborate closely with the existing Senior Contract Analyst and the Director of Research Contracts.       The successful candidate (Program Director) will be expected to lead the day-to-day operations and activities of the new UNT Dallas National ESA program and teach the equivalent of 2 courses per semester. The Director will recruit and further develop the ESA program as a national program which became a standalone major in the Fall of 2026. In particular, the candidate will be responsible for the hiring and evaluation of adjuncts for the ESA program along with student advisement for both current and matriculating students. The Program Director will be expected to network with Federal, State, and local partners to build a strong rapport and reputation for academic excellence in the program in Texas and beyond. In addition, the Program Director will interface with first responder and community partners including but not limited to community colleges, high schools, and first- responder agencies throughout Texas and the nation.
